Educational Workshops

CMTA is dedicated to providing educational opportunities to enhance professionalism and competence for treasurers and investment officials.

Advanced Investment Workshop

The objective of the Advanced Investment Workshop is to provide municipal investors, with three or more years of experience, with two days of extensive hands-on training by leading industry experts. The sessions are technical, yet understandable, and will cover the topics of portfolio and cash management. This workshop earns you points toward the CCMT designation.

Essentials of Treasury Management Workshop

The Essentials of Treasury Management Workshop meets for one and a half days of intense training covering the basic concepts and practices of investing public funds. The workshop format is designed to provide newly elected or appointed treasurers, or those with less than three years of treasury management experience, with top-notch training in treasury fundamentals. This workshop is also beneficial for those who want a “refresher,” as well as for those who are earning points toward the CCMT designation.
