This seminar provides the fundamental concepts, tools, and strategies necessary to manage and oversee public investment portfolios. On Day One panelists will address the components of portfolio management, including roles and responsibilities of practitioners, understanding permitted investments, establishing policy objectives, and managing cash flow. On Day Two panelists will address structuring and diversifying an investment portfolio, benchmarking, and best practices in portfolio accounting, disclosure and reporting.

CTC and CCMT Specialized Training Opportunity
For those who are currently enrolled in one of the certification programs (CTC or CCMT), this workshop qualifies for the credits needed to complete your certification/designation. As part of the California-specific educational component of these programs, specialized CMTA training is required: 4 credits are required to obtain a CTC designation and 8 credits are required to obtain a CCMT designation. The sessions in this workshop that offer the qualifying credits are listed below.

- California Government Code and Legal Investments (.5 hours)
- Investment Policy and Objectives (1 hour)
- Investment Accounting and Disclosure (1 hour)
- Investment Reporting (1 hour)
The workshop offers a total of 3.5 credits of CMTA Specialized Training towards a CTC/CCMT designations. Click here to learn more about CMTA Certification Program.

Cost: $250
Registration cost includes a two-day training and meal functions. Hotel accommodations are not included in the registration cost, please see below for hotel reservation information.
