CMTA 2020 Annual Conference

CMTA leadership has been monitoring the evolving coronavirus (also known as COVID-19) situation, especially in relation to our upcoming annual conference scheduled on April 22-24, 2020 at the Marriott San Mateo.  After Governor Newsom declared a state of emergency last week in response to the public health threat of COVID-19 and his Executive Order which includes significant concerns with large gatherings, we held a call today to evaluate options on the conference including a possible postponement or cancellation.  CMTA leadership is in discussion with the hotel and will make a final determination at our Board meeting next Wednesday.  Know that our participants’ health and safety remain our top priority.
