CMTA Notice About Coronavirus & Conference Concerns

Thank you for registering to attend CMTA’s 2020 Annual Conference on April 22-24, 2020 in San Mateo, CA.
We wanted to send you a note to let you know that CMTA staff is working hard to address concerns about the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and provide a safe environment for members at the Annual Conference in San Mateo. CMTA is working directly with the San Mateo Marriott to ensure proper sanitation measures are in place and adequate hand sanitizers are available. The health and safety of our members is our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the situation and recommendations from health organizations.
At this time, the conference is scheduled to proceed as planned. CMTA is monitoring health updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and California Department of Public Health, as well as reviewing recommendations from professional associations such as Meeting Professional International and the American Society of Association Executives.
Please Note: Those who are registered to attend the conference but fall ill are encouraged to stay home, per the advice of health officials.
Hotel Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable first night’s room and tax deposit is due with reservations.
All cancellations will forfeit this deposit regardless of cancellation time-frame. Name changes are allowed as long as the deposit stays with the reservation.
Conference Registration Cancellation Policy
$25 fee for cancellations received on or before April 8, 2019. No Refunds after April 8th, you can send a colleague if you cannot attend. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to email@example.com.
